Take a systems view
- I took into account the context under which the learning would be executed. I understood the systemic approach of the ADDIE model to provide a framework for development and delivery of the product.
- I was aware of values and barriers of the learner.
Use cycles of reasoning as tools for problem solving
I used the Morrison, Kemp and Ross instructional design model to provide cycles of reasoning for problem solving.
Promote collaboration, partnerships, and relationships for full inclusion.
I utilized questionnaires provided by stakeholders, interviewed the stakeholders and consulted with potential users of the product.
Be a lifelong learner and professional
I utilized my newfound knowledge about the science of instruction. I had to learn three new softwares (Sqeeze, Cinematize and Final Cut Pro) and further develop my capabilities with Dreamweaver, CSS, Actionscript and Flash.

- I tried to utilized problem based learning by guiding the learner to develop strategies that are relevant to their profession.
- In addition, I utilized a pedagogical agent to enhance learning.
Develop products and resources to support learning and performance (with documentation)
- I developed this product through the use of stakeholder input, a felt needs questionnaire, a task analysis, a learner analysis, and a contextual analysis.
- I then adhered to the given learning objectives and used sound instructional strategies based on an expanded performance-content matrix.
- Finally, I developed assessment strategies and an evaluation plan.
Management

- I managed all aspects of this instructional design project.
- I managed the development of the technology.
- I managed the information resources (i.e. subject matter experts, stakeholders, books, and video) relevant to the instruction.
Overview:This 90-minute course was created to help supervisors navigate the complexities of the state and university classified staff policies.
The Learning Goal: Once supervisors learn these human resource management skills, they can maximize their employees' productivity and satisfaction and minimize the chances that they will make the wrong personnel decision or take the wrong action.
